The Myrtle Beach Family Kingdom, located between 4th avenue and 6th avenue South on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, S.C. is home to 30 thrilling rides and one of Myrtle Beach's most requested adventure rides. The Swamp Fox Roller Coaster is one of the few woodie roller coasters still remaining in America.

The theme park features the area's only Oceanfront water park with spash rides, wet and wild water flumes, (over a 100 foot drop), exhilarating speed slides, intermediate speed slides and a spacious 425 foot long lazy river with waterfalls. The Family Kingdom Water park also features eight kiddie rides and a rainforest water tree to cool the warm mid summer days. The Family Kingdom Lazy River meanders the Oceanfront so mom and dad can have a restful and scenic, lazy afternoon.

Family Kingdom thrill park features two go-kart tracks, bumper cars, and a historical carousel. The Pistolero Round-Up is a laser ride with an old West flare and offers high tech fun. The Family Kingdom miniature locomotive winds its way through the park and under one of America's last woodie roller coasters, The Swamp Fox Roller Coaster. Make sure to catch the Swamp Fox when in Myrtle Beach. Creaks and squeals will get the heart pounding as this ride will give you drops, jolts, and jerks. Riding a woodie is a charming East Coast tradition that has been going on for almost 100 years.
