Myrtle Beach Hotels now are beginning to see the real potential of what is sure to be a revolution in Myrtle Beach, SC with the official opening of Hard Rock Theme Park on June 01, 2008.

The park hosted legendary 70's rock band the Eagles on June 1st and June 2nd in concert. The event was completely sold out as of May 01, 2008.

Hard Rock Theme Park is a Myrtle Beach attraction offering several venues including British Invasion, Lost in the 70's, and Cool Country. Each venue offers its own special theme and own special rides and attractions. Featured rides at Hard Rock Theme park are Moody Blues, The Trip and Led Zeppelin, The Ride.

The park cost over $450,000,000 to build and is one of the largest tourism investments in the history of South Carolina.

Day tickets to the park run $50 each. Parking and meals are not included in this rate, but all rides and attractions are.
