Hard Rock Theme Park opened in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina this past April 15, 2008 to forty four degree temperatures and a limited showing. Daily passes for the park now start at $50 per person, per day.
With such Thrill rides as Led Zeppelin - The Ride and Moody Blues the Trip, this $450 million dollar theme park is sure to change the Myrtle Beach landscape and increase traffic to Myrtle Beach Resorts in the Summer seasons.
Hard Rock Park will continue limited operations through May 15, 2008 with a grand opening on June 1st and June 2nd that features concerts performed by legendary 70's rockers, The Eagles. Tickets for the grand opening are running $250 each.
Hard Rock Park will feature such venues as:
Cool Country
Lost in the 70's
Born in the USA
British Invasion
Rock N Roll Heaven
We have included above a Myrtle Beach Hotel link to one of the closest Myrtle Beach Hotels to the theme park. All of our Myrtle Beach Hotels and Condos under the Myrtle Beach categories are within 20 minutes drive of the theme park.
If you go, we suggest you give yourself at least 50 minutes drive time as the traffic coming of Highway 22, Highway 17 heading south onto 501 and Highway 17 North onto George Bishop Parkway will be heavy in the early morning hours as the park is filling up.
