Garden City Beach SC

In a fly over, it is quite obvious that Garden City Beach South Carolina is an Island largely cut off from the land mass that is America, by the Intracoastal Waterway.

While its contemporary towns of Cherry Grove Beach and North Myrtle Beach have gone highrise with concrete and steel Myrtle Beach condo resorts, Garden City is largely made up of single family Oceanfront Beach Homes.

The one lane road that runs up and down Garden City has a hot dog stand on one end and a quaint marina on the other. Couple with Sarah J’s fried seafood restaurant, it would not be hard to imagine this town as Mayberry on the beach. (more…)

New Oceanfront Hotels in Myrtle Beach

New oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotels have recently opened or are opening in the next few months.

With the building boom coming to an end in late 2007, Myrtle Beach Hotels and condos expects few new Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Hotels to be built once these are fully operational. With the exception of North Beach Plantation at Barefoot Landing beaches, Myrtle Beach Hotels expects few new develops on the Ocean front for the next two years or more. With that said, the following is the latest crop of Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotels that are now available for Myrtle Beach vacations and reservations. Most of these feature one, two, three, and four bedroom Oceanfront resort hotel condos. (more…)

Kingston Plantation

Kingston Plantation, located at 9800 Queensway Boulevard is this week’s Myrtle Beach Condos in review.

Kingston Plantation is a 145 acre Myrtle Beach resort with an outstanding clay court tennis facility featuring over 9 clay courts with venue seating for tournament play. The facility has featured matches that included John McEnroe and Pete Sampras.

Kingston Plantation offers Myrtle Beach Condos on the backside of the resort away from the Ocean. On the Oceanfront, kingston offers the Hilton Hotel which features more traditional hotel rooms and the Embassy Suites property which features suite hotel rooms. (more…)

Myrtle Beach Condos are getting more plentiful every day as newer condos are being built and older, hotels are being torn down, making room for newer Myrtle Beach condo rentals.

Starting this month, Myrtle Beach Hotels and Condos will begin doing weekly Myrtle Beach Condo Reviews and Myrtle Beach Hotel reviews. All hotels and condos listed on each of our Myrtle Beach Hotels and condos pages will have a local rating and most will have an area to view customer written ratings. Shore Crest Villas

Shore Crest Villas is a North Myrtle Beach resort built in 1985 at the onset of the condo boom in North Myrtle Beach.

This Resort in North Myrtle Beach featured largely one and two bedroom condos. When the Shore Crest Condos were orginally built condos in Myrtle Beach were rare. Most Oceanfront properties consisted mostly of Hotels owned by a single owner. (more…)
