Republican Presidential Debate- January 16, 2012
On Monday, January 16, the Myrtle Beach Convention Center will be hosting the Republican presidential debate. Sponsored by Fox News and the Republican Party of South Carolina, the Republican presidential debate will be nationally televised. This is a public event and tickets will go quickly. Grand Strand Boat Show- February 9-12, 2012

Myrtle Beach Marathon- February 17-18
The Myrtle Beach Convention Center will be home to the Runners Expo and the starting line of the Myrtle Beach Marathon. The Myrtle Beach Marathon supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of South Carolina and the Horry County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Cheer Competitions- March 16-April 1
For years, the Myrtle Beach Convention Center has hosted national cheer competitions featuring squads from all over the country, and 2012 is no exception! These competitions are open to the public.
