Continuing in the long tradition of Myrtle Beach’s long history of live entertainment comes the The Pat Boone Family Theater. The Theater will be moving into the old NASCAR Speed park Building at Broadway at the Beach off the 17 Bypass. The Pat Boone Family Theater will feature a wide variety of shows including local performers and magic shows. The theater is scheduled to open in October 2011 and will be a welcome addition to the growing Myrtle Beach entertainment scene. (more…)

Labor Day Weekend Beach Boogie and BBQ Festival is a free festival at The Market Common that features BBQ, live music and more! The annual Beach Boogie and BBQ Festival in Myrtle Beach takes starts Friday, September 2 from 6:30-10 pm and Saturday, September 3 from 10am-10pm. The festival will feature live music, family activities and all sorts of fun entertainment including South Carolina’s barbecue competition, arts, crafts and of course a huge Myrtle Beach fireworks show! Freestyle Music Park to Reopen

The Freestyle Music Park located in Myrtle Beach has come out of foreclosure, and there are plans to reopen soon.
Attorney David Slough of FPI US announced that there was a foreclosure auction on Monday where FPI US secured the amusement park.
