Ocean View vs. OceanFront Hotels

 

Don't be fooled by jargon! Most condo and hotel rental companies aren't trying to trick you by their classification of ocean view or oceanfront. It is merely how the unit is classified. Keep in mind, a hotel BUILDING can be oceanfront, but a UNIT within that building might be ocean view (because its off the the side.) Oceanfront hotel rooms, in most cases, means that the balcony of your unit is perpendicular to the ocean. If you are standing looking straight off your balcony, the ocean should be right in front of you. Of course, oceanfront condo and hotel rentals are usually more expensive because of this fantastic view, but you can save some big bucks for an ocean view unit!
