Scott Harrelson

Scott Harrelson, owner of Thoroughbreds Restaurant in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, is among the most talented restaurant owners in America. His style, attention to detail, and gourmet items are why Thoroughbreds is by far the best restaurants for steak items in Myrtle Beach.

Scott grew up in Mullins, South Carolina. His uncle owned the local Piggly Wiggly and hard work is a family tradition.

From such modest beginnings, Scott moved to Myrtle Beach in the early 1980s and, after graduating from Coastal Carolina University, managed a local Oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotel.

After a few years in the hotel business, Scott found an opportunity to finally get into the business that was his first love.

Thoroughbreds, on Restaurant Row, was an immediate success and has remained the favorite upscale Myrtle Beach Restaurant in Myrtle Beach for the past 16 years.
